"Autumnal Wandering" is a soundscaping based project largely impregnated by the purest incantatory-visionary forms of the Austrian-German “weltschmerz” poetical tradition (from the mystically haunted Christian symbolism of Georg Trakl, to the dreamlike romanticism of Ludwig Tieck and the tormented ecstasies of Nicolaus Lenau). Musically, the whole compositional process is turned to infinitely melancholic, sinister and epic semi-acoustic neoclassical sound textures, electronic drone in-flux, blurry organic chords and deeply emotional poetical lyricism. For this last project, Philippe Blache (Day Before Us) is accompanied by the vocalist and electronic sound designer Markus Pape (M@p).
